What Can You Sell at the Ohayocon Night Market?
Original Art: Any and all artwork of your own original design, including (but not limited to) paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, buttons, charms, etc.
Original Crafts: Handmade crafts of your own design, such as ceramics, textiles, leatherwork, needlework, paper crafts, jewelry, and more.
Self-Published Works: Comics, manga, prints, art books, or other media you personally produce and own the rights to.
Bags, Clothing, and Accessories: Items of your own design or featuring your original artwork.
Resale or commercial products: No selling, reselling, or distributing mass-produced goods, including repurposed or “first-sale” items.
Licensed merchandise: Even if you created the work, licensed material may only be sold in the Dealers Room.
Edible items: No food or beverages of any kind (including handmade treats, Pocky, Ramune, etc.).
Commercial publications: Magazines, books, and similar mass-produced media are not permitted.
Cosplay reproductions: No reproduction of licensed cosplay items, including costumes, wigs, or accessories of trademarked characters.
Bootlegs or pirated media: Unauthorized reproductions of videos, manga, or artwork are strictly prohibited.
Garage/yard-sale items: Secondhand items are not permitted.
Products using copyrighted imagery: No items (buttons, shirts, cups, jewelry, etc.) that incorporate copyrighted or licensed images as part of their design.
AI-generated art of any kind is NOT permitted at Ohayocon.
The inclusion of AI art in your portfolio will result in immediate rejection.
Adult Content Rules: Art containing adult content is permitted but subject to the following restrictions.
Ohayocon defines adult content as:
Any material that cannot be legally displayed to minors
Extreme violence, murder, or gore
Fetish or sexually explicit artwork
Content that is extremely vulgar or graphic should be kept behind your table or displayed in a binder/booklet.
The Ohayocon Night Market staff are the final authority in determining what constitutes “extreme” adult content. Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the Night Market.
